How odd - I did try to post it but it’s not spam trapped as I’d see it here otherwise (even if nobody else could).

"spam trapped" does not show as spam trapped, when you are logged-in as you. (if that makes sense)

    “How odd“

    Indeed

    No explanation

bakky has been victim of ‘spam trap’, but finally worked out what the problem was.

This is new, “I did try to post it”, and I hope a weird one off.

Ah yes - I meant, I can’t see the post regardless of login status, which is how I knew it wasn’t the spam bin. I have served my time there and was grateful to illustrious leader for cracking that particular case!

    Is the hello@edi.bike email monitored?

I sent (what I thought was) some news to it, but it wasn't published. Perhaps it was not newsworthy enough?

It is, but unfortunately it shares an inbox with my other email so I had assumed I was getting quiet route updates to personal address and forgot to make a note. Sorry! Next time…

@fimm with great fortune have the computers in charge smiled upon you; a lovely and carefully selected 727 fortunate individuals have had the monthly TEC essay to read twice over thanks to being unable to revoke sending queues at third parties. I have been informed improvements are being made, but as we all know those improvements probably involve more computers, so…

Well done bakky on getting the word "shan" in there - not heard that in about 30 years!

Like that terrible brown chippy sauce the words I had never heard until I came to Embra [which are I think linked to the travelling communiy] include

Shan - all kinds of b ad

Barrie - all kinds of good

    Radge - mad

    Gadgie - man

    Chore/Chorie- thieve/

    Kushte - cool

    Pure Malky - angry
Ya bass - a right “gentleman” / See you next Tuesday

(I only know the meanings from high school, so could be wrong)

Keeping it fairly clean/SFW another couple:
Pure -total/general superlative. I.e that dug is pure radge
Ken - know (not Barbie’s boyfriend)

I actually attempted to use some East Coast vernacular on an American troll recently by calling out his “Shan patter” on Twitter https://x.com/mcairney/status/1874271320843968899?s=46&t=DDRgkpQ_MDSjzvONC3KHTw

Unfortunately my tactic of confusion didn’t work

I remarked to the staff on leaving The Irish Turners front of the mound [RSA]

It is pure hoaching in there

They had no idea what I was taking about.

One of the Banners thanked a bus driver recently for the Hurl

    Again no idea. [In Fife]
