Was trying to search for the FRB thread, but search seems to be returning no results for any search terms?

Use Google with the following search:

@chrisfl can do the necessary jiggery pokery to make the search work again. Usually a server memory issue.

When I went over it on Saturday it was the east side that was open.

Thanks @vladimpala, yes still the east side, though I did have an on no, sigh moment when confronted by what looked like from a distance a big metal fence when approaching from Edinburgh side. Thankfully though there was a temporary path arround it.
