    If anyone’s migrating, my handle is the same there. I’ve created a starter pack of likeminded people - Edinburgh issues, cycling etc that might help you find people to follow.

    TWITTER (X) ->BLUESKY

    Along with many other groups and individuals, Spokes has opened a BlueSky account, because of the misinformation now being allowed on twitter. Within 48 hours, we already have over 100 BlueSky followers. This week The Guardian announced that it would no longer be posting on twitter, though they will still use it for other purposes, and many others are discussing doing similar.

    We will still be staying on twitter for the time being, in addition to our new BlueSky account, because it is still widely used by councils, government departments, transport experts and politicians who we need to keep in touch with; and because it contains useful historic information such as our tweet threads of Edinburgh Council Transport Committee.

    If you use BlueSky, why not ask your councillors/MSP/MP to sign up too, and to urge the Council to do so also, so that BlueSky becomes increasingly valuable?

    You can follow Spokes on BlueSky at bsky.
