    Replaced by Councillor Ed Thornley

Together with Councillor Robert Aldridge, he is campaigning for:

Action to tackle the terrible state of local roads, paths and pavements

More investment in our parks and green spaces

Better lighting in green spaces so people can feel safe when walking

Improvements to road safety across our communities, especially near schools

Sadly, Cllr Val Walker has died. She was a good person and mainly a librarian only getting into politics I think after she retired??

Maybe we could put a bus gate in Manse Rd!

I expect the road safety one will quickly be dropped and denied when they realise that some car owners become rather irrational when asked to drive safer.

I'm not sure what he considers to be safe but he didn't appear to be a fan of safer cycling infrastructure. Even if like the Maybury drive lane it is zero consequence to drivers.
