Riders set off yesterday on this year's 1000 mile circuit. (Already - time flies)

Local Spanish rider Gabriele Revelli has just made it to Dunoon. Having worked for Farr Out delivery obviously helping!

Bill not in it this year.

Some local interest with both Mark 'Sparkles' Anderson and Kieran Power taking part. Mark currently in the lead after an early wheel failure

@mcairney Mark is now over Skye Bridge. Very fast so far at over half way! Next up is Gabriele R heading towards Mallaig and ferry to Sleat.
    Behind him is Julia K.
    Then Rob G.

Mary Watson from Isle of Man is in a pairs team with another rider Sue. Currently on Lang Whang and turning through by East Calder. So she'll get to 200 miles shortly. She rides lots of Audaxes and see her on Strava a bit.

TA though is possibly hardest thing to do? Bill will know how it compares.

Mark 'Sparkles' Anderson is in a different event now?!

Over the Cairngorms shortly. Last 100 miles. Others are way back.

Maryjane Watson and others still to get to Dunoon. Most riders are solo so a pairs team can maybe hold back a bit!

He'll be home by midnight; likely earlier if the road is kind.

Some people still on way to finish this morning. Gabriele sadly was a DNF.
Mark Anderson knocked it off in 89 hours averaging over 260 miles a day. (Must be a record!)
Rob Gardiner was second at 119 hours.
Maryjane completed her pairs to Oban on 5th place.

    Well done to all!
