    Just in case anyone wants one.

    "Just a follow-up on that Linear recumbent - it has Shimano 105 on it, the tyres hold air, it's apparently in decent condition. It's going for free, if you want it.

    The catch is, it must be collected today, Tuesday 15 July. Tomorrow is the scrap run, that would be too late."

    @chdot - not me either;-)

    The post was not a recommendation or endorsement of the actual item named. As with upright bicycles there are many designs - some better than others!

    But other models not available free!

    (google suggests that the LWB Linear does have some fans)

    Confess I had to Google as well, looks like someone has put a chair on a stick. When we used to do that as kids, we used to remember and put the other two wheels on. That bogie looks like it'll fall over...

    ".It’s 88” long, comprised basically of an aluminium beam with bicycle equipment on each end and a garden chair on top. "

    Quite a nice design; if you took off the wheels and seat it folded into a long, thin package (albeit now you had four bits of luggage instead of one).
