    Roseburn jam

The opening of the West Link Road, later called the West Approach, Road, made little difference to the traffic jams at Roseburn, Edinburgh, in December 1974

Surely you're not suggesting that building road capacity doesn't ease congestion? Don't tell my pals in Midlothian, they've numbered all their commuter eggs and popped them in a 'relief road' basket!

    Read the title and thought
Yes they have travelled through time along with the 80s and 90s 00s and 10's traffic to add to the already busy 20's roads all piled on top of each other
At least the cars back then were thinner than the average tank these days, the shot of coates Cres is hilarious, parked cars either side and long ways in the centre and STILL space for a mini* to get past

*back when the word meant "small" and "not a behemoth"
