Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

Anyone here been Audaxing over winter (apart from Bill!)? One of my contacts has been out on a couple this year.
Tour of East Lothian at weekend sounded 'fun'(!)
He sent a summary of his experience...
"So, first up, Redstone Rig is a beast; far worse than I thought. I thought that I had found it so hard cos I was under fit and on a Fuego. But I had forgotten just how tough it is. Afraid I walked the last 15% section after it dog-legs to the right. That was in no small part to the 40mph headwind as the road turned. Then it was too steep to get going again. Probably the same point I started walking last time lol. Person I was riding with had stopped for a comfort break further down & passed me whilst I was walking, but it took him almost a minute to get past me walking! You've seen the route & I think they have found every ramp above 15% in E Lothian. Really tired before we turned at Dunbar. Then just a grind into the wind. Was lucky to ride with someone roughly on a par with me & we ended up doing a 2 up chain gang with each of us having stronger and weaker periods.
So, whilst it covered a lot of roads we have ridden together, I haven't been filled with a desire to go back. I think I said on Strava that I have done easier 200km rides & I stand by that! Just hard to evidence how hard it was. I have a 200 in April, so this will be good training. Although, that also has a good few nasty ramps on the route..."
Ha, i sailed past. You going up Redstone Rig on your recumbent in less than a minute. Then a wee boy flew past me in about one second. Everyone is getting older. [except Bill]
@gembo You have to remember that a recliner is close to being a static trainer on hills like that :-)
Before the race came through there were a few people really going for it to get a KoM. Some of them maybe had driven out and deployed a bike I reckon. ;-)
Here's Mr SRD's video of the day - only ten years ago!
