    Hooray!

    PoP is important

    Covid intervened…

Afterwards, as with many things, some momentum was lost. Some of the original core (who all did amazing amounts of work) stepped back, moved on, had other things to do…

CCE didn’t start PoP but without many CCEers it probably wouldn’t have taken off.

Some people did a lot, organising behind the scenes - dealing with CEC, Police etc. Fortunately the people with that knowledge/expertise are still around and got things sorted this year. And things like designing (remember the Pandas and Sloths?)

Others flyered, postered, chalked, told their friends and turned up for the celebration ride.

A key few organised the Feeder Rides - a great way to get the more cautious to The Meadows.

Plenty opportunities to join in/help this year.

Many did smaller but important things for the whole design style (Pandas, Sloths etc.)

The lead organiser this year is a relatively new CCEer.

    Things roll on.

Looking back I was in awe of the energy of all those involved in organising these early PoPs. LB shop was one of the muster points having the cafe next door and Bike Works round corner.
    POP 2 LB Style
@wingpig had loads of bamboo poles
@chdot brought a cargo bike with no motor
