Help Pedal on Parliament target invites to known MSP cyclists, which also helps shortlist a potential political speaker...

Kate Campbell - SNP (great speech at Spokes hustings)
    Simita Kumar - SNP
    Sanne Dijkstra-Downie - LD
    Holly Bruce - Greens
    Ariane Burgess - Greens
    Maggie Chapman - Greens
    Patrick Harvie - Greens

    Lorna Slater - Greens

I think it’s safe to say she is not a ‘regular bike user’

Obviously, as ‘we’ say, ‘personal choice’

As with anyone else, there may be personal reasons. Being a ‘public figure’ doesn’t mean that ‘the public’ needs to know ‘everything’

It could be reasons that affect many people - ‘lack of safe infrastructure’!

It may also be that as a high profile politician in highly divisive times, she has been advised (or chosen) not to

I think it’s safe to say that now she is MSP for the centre of Edinburgh she will continue to be supportive of cycling and anything that encourages more people to ride bikes more often

Perhaps she will come to PoP on a Voi - unless she really doesn’t ride (for whatever reason)

    Nice constituency

Bit of Roseburn Corridor, most of new route to the canal and start of Innocent

Plus Meadows and most of the PoP route

@bakky that seems fair enough like she took the time to go to. The Bike Station which is nice but i fear she told them she lived in a tenement and would like infra before she felt safe enough which as Illustrious Leader says is OK
