    There's a small number of folks who use the ccefeed thing I wrote about 14 years ago. In short, it was IMHO a better way of being able to read posts on this site. See here for the previous chat about it:

    Last night I decided to re-write it while watching the F1 qualifying, and the new version is here:

    https://ccefeed.irreverence.co.uk/

    Folks who already use the old version should be able to log in on the new one. Everyone else can just register if they want to use it. It's now using a modern tech stack, thankfully runs over HTTPS, and is (again IMHO) much easier to read stuff. Oh, and it also works really very nicely on a mobile phone, which lbf most people will be wanting to use in this day and age.

    Happy to hear if folks have ideas to make it better.

    Thanks

    My iPad ‘remembered’ email and password

    Site said ‘not recognised’ and hasn’t emailed “code”

    Will try to register

    Let me know how you get on. I can see someone else succeeded about 20 mins before you.

    @chdot I just replicated what you tried, and it all worked fine:

    * I had a 2nd account registered from aaaages ago, so did "Forgot your password" against that email
    * I got the code in my email within 5 seconds
    * I used it to choose a new password
    * I logged in successfully

    So, if you got no code and it said "not registered", you didn't use an email for an account that was registered and active. Just register from scratch.

    I'm a regular user of CCEFeed. Thanks for all your work on this over the years.

    The new site looks nice. As you say it's easier to use on a small screen device.

    Oh and my browser (Firefox) auto populated my credentials.
