This was directly outside our offices and we saw all the aftermath from the windows. It happened about 10 minutes after I passed that bit of road and pulled into our car park and kind of put my minor scrapes and scuffs into perspective.

At that time of the morning it is very busy with buses, the courier vans from UPS and DHL and RM depots, tradesmen and commuters trying to get into their carparks. It's very busy but it's not fast moving - it is worrying that a car was moving fast enough down that stretch of road to cause a fatality.

....not a good morning, I saw (what appeared to be) the immediate aftermath of a Car v Bike incident at the sighthill roundabout at about 7.05 this morning.

I did not intervene as there were a fair few people stopped / on phones etc already.

Cyclist was lying on the road not moving, so hope he is ok.

It was a bit icy in stretches this morning, which no doubt did not help.

Frost-aversion meant I was walking from the bus-stop when the emergency vehicles were on the way to the (South Gyle) scene. Not good.
