"Edinburgh is a good subject, for it is a peculiarly civic city ('civic' is their favourite word)"
CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 16years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

I think K-nik has been moonlighting....
I have this book and it's braw!!
I've never seen that - it looks just marvellous. Must must must buy a copy! It's everything I've been trying to achieve with my own creations. My new favourite thing.
Lots of copies on abebooks.co.uk
hehehehe! Saw this and thought it was another of kaputnik's creations as well!
@chdot does it have the Edmonstone Waggonway?
"does it have the Edmonstone Waggonway?"
No, just a train in P. St. Gardens.

It's been republished. I'm sure I remember flicking through it in a bookshop a while back.
There are other books in the series too.
My mum got the new one for my son a year or so back - its actually quite good for the younger kiddies - pride in the home town and all that !
T'other books in the series here:
This is...
I remember seeing the SF edition in San Francisco and thinking it was well smart, then got home only to find the one on Edinburgh as well.
I really fancy "This is way to the Moon". 60s-tastic.
