    where's laidback? (yes, i know other people do cycle on the royal mile, but...)

    on second thoughts, he would be unlikely to smash windscreen.... :)

    Firstly - glad that the rider appears to have come off lightly considering that a windscreen has been broken.

    Secondly - I'm sure Laidback is fine, otherwise it would have read;

    I broke a windscreen and limped away, I wouldnt call getting off lightly tho. still have one hip higher than the other.

    Not I. I wonder if it was crossing at the bridges / mound or somewhere on the actual mound. Hmm.

    Eyewitness report (relayed secondhand) says 'looked pretty bad' 'cyclist thrown up in air'.

    Said to be at Bridges junction and probably not cyclist's fault.

    Just to clarify - by "getting off lightly" I meant that they were sufficiently alive and not stuck inside a broken windscreen to be nursing their injuries by the side of the road!

    "Just to clarify - by "getting off lightly"..."

    Don't suppose your remark was misinterpreted, I imagine cyclist might almost agree too.
