Ok, I'm sure to get a ribbing for this post, but here goes... as we come into summer and you hairy roadie types start wearing shorts, if you are about to break out the razors ready for the trad smooth leg look you may want to try a visit to Sam at Sinwaxing ( http://sinwaxing.co.uk/index.html )
Not nearly as embarrassing for the blokes as a salon full of ladies and she is a very professional and friendly person.
Tell her Gordon (the scuba diver) sent you, and before you ask, no I haven't tried the more...erm... extreme options! :-0

I like to think of my legs as having "speed hairs"...
No slight on your waxist smudge, but the fact she advertises insurance on the front page of the website frankly terrifies me! I don't like to think of what sort of waxing catastrophes could result in hefty claims for liability!

My sister's recently-acquired husband (personal trainer) revealed that the reason he shaves everything is not for aerodynamics and not to make it less messy when he gets a scrape but to prevent sweat rash.

have you tried shaving your legs? it takes HOURS.
And have you seen the after effects of a badly done wax? not pretty. Hence the insurance.
Tempting, but I'd like to be waxed in a 'salon full of ladies'.

Sorry - I believe that leg hairs capture and retain a "Boundary Layer" of air, adding to aerodynamics....

I still like to think I'm a mountain biker, we don't shave our legs.... well the women don't the guys still do.
