    Being red my red and white equipment already works... Keep the brakes, forks, stem, take over the wheels, bars and saddle. Just need a new brake lever, and seatpost, and mudguards.

    Now, someone here mentioned some hipsteresque 'guards that TBC had in stock... White n' red. Oh yes.

    and looks like it has the forward-facing drop-outs so you can dispense with a chain tensioner.

    You certainly won't look out of place in Marchmont on that - unless that is you clean it, take care of it and oil it

    Presumably not yet standard stock but presumably orderable, they FB-ed a picture of wooden mudguards the other day. They'd go really well with something slightly more hipsteresque...

    I think this should be your new bike, anth. Red and white so ticks those boxes. Front and rear racks. Bargain.

  8. Yeah, saw that one today. Nice 531 frame that chdot sent me as well - the one I went to look at was too small... :(

    HORRID!!!

    Don't touch anything made by Tensor - one of the first 'mail order bicycle' companies

    Anyone know anything about?

  10. My first fixed wheel was a Tensor recovered from a skip - I stripped it down and resprayed it at home. The frame eventually was very clearly in the process of dying.

    Is that a special lens effect, or is that Brooks really that, er, capacious!?!

    I couldn't see who made that other frame, just liked the look. Obviously well before "my" time so I will defer to the more learned members of the panel ;)

    I'll buy the first person to do a "spot" on it rattling around studentsville the coffee and cake of their choice at PY!

    This is now the "cool bikes on gumtree" thread;

    Oh if it were 4" bigger! :)
