not resolvedWhere can one hire a bicycle for a half day, perhaps even a full day. My friend is visiting from Canada and we want to explore Edinburgh by bike.

I was going to suggest he should see if you'd do this. Depending on where Canadian friend is from, and if she has ever cycled/driven in the UK before, she may find it a bit hard going. Tandem would simplify all that and be good fun too.
