Police Hunt Hit and Run Driver

Journalistic standards are slipping.... normally only higher value cars would have earned this kind of attention.

"The lovely Skoda Fabia was parked on Beach Road, near the junction of Church Road in North Berwick, when it appears she was struck some time between 10.30am and 3.45pm on Sunday, April 3.

The other vehicle did not stop or leave any contact details with Skoda, despite causing a two-foot tear in her side, which will cost around £300 to repair."

Having cycled through NB at weekend I'm not surprised. Will there be roadblocks?

£300?!? That wont cover a single panel replacement in a decent car bodyshop!

Eh, in the article it reads:

A blue Skoda Fabia was parked on Beach Road, near the junction of Church Road in North Berwick, when it appears to have been struck some time between 10.30am and 3.45pm on Sunday, April 3

Perhaps they've seen your message on here and edited the text?

    Hit-and-run driver hunt

Yes - they seem to have sorted it though you might have thought a person had been hurt by the 'hit and run' headline. They were surprised that details weren't left with damaged car?

The new 'News' hit-and-run priority list...

      Expensive cars
      Skoda Fabias
      Taxis
      Pedestrians
      Bollards
      Wheelie Bins
      Cyclists?
