  1. Not bad, although not big enough to warrant the £10 entry (the box office and the entrance guards had no idea about my press pass - only found out afterwards I should have gone to the business centre).

Saw Laidback, but every time we went past he was engaged in deep conversation, and at one point Steveo and I were standing right beside him at the test track, ready to say hello, and he rushed off without spotting us a mere 6 inches away! Must have been doing good business... ;)

    Lots of BMXers

  4. Most interesting bike of the day award goes to the Ironwood (Steveo and I spent a long time chatting with both the designer/builder and one of the Strathclyde engineering students involved with stress testing on it for a thesis).

Sorry... just back now. Was sort of full on for me - sorry I would have stopped to chat. In fact the test track was a disputed zone and my main focus was on keeping Ridelines happy which I failed to do. LB was discouraged from using it on Sunday so was doing 'secret' bike and trike trials at back of hall. Shame as this was first time many people could see trikes in use. The LB stall had queue much of the time and we did ok for sales.

The pass situation was 'bit' chaotic as entrance didn't know anything - if people phoned I had to go and get passes which were generally just written out by hand.

To be fair Rowan worked very hard to get the show to happen and if it didn't meet people's expectations then maybe next one will (if it happens).

Today was much quieter and by mid afternoon people from stands were trying bikes and at least half a dozen 'learnt' two wheeled recumbent riding. Most of them were in teens - quite nice to see.
