(Yet another) Charity Ride

    Hi All,
    As some of you know I am shortly going to undertake a sponsored ride from Edinburgh to Woolwich in aid of the Royal Artillery Institute.     Well we're in Lincoln tonight, I have to say the A68 into a headwind was somewhat emotional! :-o
    Sunburnt arms and knees and yet I had to hide under a tree earlier to avoid the pain of being hit by torrential pea sized hailstones!
    Sore knee is causing some worry, as is the rear freehub :-/ it's my bling wheelset and always had a nice ticking noise when freewheeling, well now it sometimes does and sometimes is silent, and has started to make the odd "clunk" which is rather disconcerting, I just hope it makes it to London without giving up :-/
    Still, one more 100 mile-ish day then we have an "easy" 60 mile run in to the finish, so we're doing not bad so far, I def wont have any problem sleeping tonight though :-)

    Hope everyone is hale and hearty back in Edinurgh and the weather is fine.
