    Says The Scotsman Magazine's snowboarding and extreme sports writer Roger Cox.

    I'm trying to find link. Was in today's edition - I think it will be online soon.

    My own view is that if more of us shifted to biking and walking then the need for marked cycle ways and expensive traffic management would be less.

    was walking canal/water of leith today (LOTS of bikes, not all considerately cycled). at top of stairs nr aquaduct, three cyclists stopped looking at maps - including 'innertube' and A-Z. Asked if they needed help (bloke said no, but women said yes). They were trying to get to Balerno and, of course, the innertube was basically useless at telling them where to actually go. Recommended that they get a Spokes map!
