Men in Skirts day

    Hi all,

    Just a quick message to let you know that there is an International "Men In Skirts" coming up on Sunday May 15th.

    Nothing specific has been arranged - just get out there and try it.

    I wore a denim mini-skirt last year (and I am a bloke!) at a charity walk for Breast Cancer starting and finishing at Scone Palace. That took place on May 15th last year (Saturday) and was great. It is on again this year but on May 14th Saturday but I will get out the short skirt once again.

    Not sure if any of you guys want a meet for a cycle (with skirts) :O

    Wonder what the ladies of this site would think of that?

    Hi all,
    I agree Smudge - very rude question. If I asked that of a woman/lady I would be ripe for a very quick slap across the chops!

    I heard someone say many years ago on the "kilt" question, that good girls don't ask... but bad girls find out! Think we know all about Min now!

    On the Facebook site, I think there was another newer one for this year but it seems to have disappeared.

    Lol, I wasn't asking, merely suggesting sartorial caution, especially to men who may not be used to bike/skirt combo's. I am unable to forget Laidbacks tale of a man attempting to ride a recumbent in a kilt...

    And since you are all too gentlemenly to ask I'll tell you - shorts! :-P

    Too much info... and I wasn't asking either!

    Yes - caution is advised especially for shorter skirts.

    (... "recumbent in a kilt" ... mind boggling here! )

    @Min, shorts make sense on the bike, but surely a bit bulky otherwise (not asking, just opining!)
    As to a kilt (or skirt) on a recumbent, erm... not good, thank you, from either gender!
