This very handy and visually brilliant site has now gone "corporate". From now on in should you wish to access any of the videos you will have to pay. You can read the blurb about the reasons for this when you access the site.

That's a shame, his videos were good. I guess in future if I want to make a bad job of fitting my own threaded headset I'll have to rely on the 100 other videos out there on youtube!

I agree the videos were excellent and helped enormously when I didn't know how to do something. I do not find Sheldon Brown very accessible, user friendly, or even understandable...I know he is regarded as a semi-deity by some but I just cannot get on with him and find his explanations baffling.

That's $71.40 or £43.62 sterling per annum. I got the impression that you may pay for every video you watch but I may be wrong on that one.Posted 13 years ago # -
A paperback copy of Zinn (in Mountain or Road flavours) is much cheaper than that! And easier to take with you wherever you choose to fettle.
