I've created a thread for users to put a list of Bike friendly pubs (not that I'm actively advocating drinking and riding (on public roads)

I'll start off and would ask others adding keep the discussions to a minimum so others using this list don't have to trawl through pages of discussion to find pubs.

    Template:

    Name: (with URL)Name of Pub
Loc: Place name, Address if no URL
    URL: Link to URL
    Tel: 01234 567890
Facilities: Short description of location or bike parking and anything specific to the pub.

    Name: The Stagg
    Loc: Musselburgh (Fisherrow)
    Tel: ???
    URL: http://www.staggsbar.com/
    Streetview: Not Available.
Facilities: Bear garden at read through door way to right of pub, limited bike parking in Beer Garden. Allows food from home as they don't sell any themselves. Nice choice or Real Ale.

    Name: The Bridge Inn
Loc: 27 Baird Rd, Ratho, Newbridge EH28 8RA
    Tel: 0131 333 1320
    URL: http://www.bridgeinn.com/
    Streetview: Google Streetview Link
Facilities: Bike rack in the north west corner of car park, welcomes cycles. Food, Canal trips.

Not all pubs and no info on bike facilities, but might be seasonally useful -

I was at Dr Neil's Garden on Friday evening - beautiful.

On the Meadows it looked like a beach at the Med.

And the grandees in kilt and woollen jackets attending Obama's event at the EICC looked distinctly warm..

Facilities: Couple of bike racks outside, but happy to let you wheel your bike through to the secure rear beer garden. Good food and beers/ales/lagers. Too good/comfy perhaps, but an easy walk to the train station :-)
