I don't know of any reason why not. Pay day and everything so I might stretch to coffee AND cake!

  4. Yep, pay day for me too! I'll not be able to stay as late as I used to, but should be good till about 8.30, and I've missed the last couple!

  11. That sounds alright. Not quite 'sitting outside' weather yet though... Where's the summer???

    "Where's the summer???"

That was a couple of weeks ago.

I will try to come along this time. What are you having, hot chocolate? Great, I'll have one as well, thanks. :>

  14. Ooh ooh! Don't suppose you'd have a headset press on your person at such time? And I can buy you a separate coffee next week in thanks...

    What time is kick off?

I'm on a day's leave, so I could pootle along and say hello if you'd welcome a red-faced, perspiring middle-aged lardy-bum into your midst...?

Kick off is any time after 7.30 I think. Not that I ever arrive that early!

Yeah 730 to about 810 for me. Got to get a shift over town to Sarf Gyle after that.

    Maybe next week.... :-)

I'll be en route to Glasgow :(

  21. Sigh. I'm not going to make my own suggested coffee morn. Been landed with an 8.30 meeting. :(

This is going to sound well wimpy, not to mention embarassing as it would be my First Time, but man flu has been getting to me all day. I'm hoping it's a one-day bug, but Mrs Knees has had something for a few days now and if I feel rough again tomorrow morning the lure of a warm duvet may be too strong...

  23. So how was the coffee? The subsidised Starbucks brew I'm now having on a deferred breakfast isn't baaaaad, but it's not Peter's Yard... Still, the meeting went well...

Well obviously everyone hates us but it did mean I got a chance to have a proper chat with Kaputnik and then Laidback. :-P

Coffee was good. Pigs ears were good.

Cyclign in jeans "because it looked nice out the window" = fail.

You want to get yourself some lycra mate. :-P
Having said that, shorts and fingerless gloves were also a fail. Brrrrrrr.

I had to drive the wee man down to my mums and catch the bus from there (wife has lurgy). Had considered stealing my dads bike but he was already away... Consoled my self with a haggis and tattie scone roll.

  28. Next Friday, being the day before I'm then on holiday for two weeks, wahey, a go-er for anyone?

And Kappers, you want to forget that Copenhagenisational stuff. You're always banging on about having to ride in normal clothes. Min's right, you need to try some lycra. You might like it y'know...

(riding in early (into a hideous headwind) I parked at the office juuuuuust before the rain came down, so that counted in the early meeting's favour!)

No coffee today, just a grim slog down the road, with an annoying person that drafted me all the way up a hill then overtook me and shot off at the top. (who then I passed later along the road).

No coffee next week either as I'll be in Tuscany, well forse una o due machiatto.

I don't know I was the veritable spiderman today and still bloody cold.
