Anyone else having a 'big lunch' on Sunday the 5th?

Anyone in the Polwarth/Shandon/Harrison Park/ area is very welcome: Sunday 5 June in Polwarth Church Gardens (corner of Polwarth Terrace and Harrison Road)
12.30 till 3pm Bring your own food to share. There’s entertainment for all the family and a community notice board promoting local groups and services.

We're planning on having one in our communal back green with some neighbours and all our kids. No entertainment at ours though, unless i bring out my guitar and sing badly.

No but we are having a big barbecue this saturday. All over Balerno roads get closed and the folks unwind. The street we are lucky to be invited to is a lollipop with the non-sticky end of the lollipop a roundabout- the adults all cook in the roundabout and the kids all cycle round and round it is carazeee

Yes they put barriers out, but no tacks. The route is quite repetitive and when the kids get all hyper and dizzy they get their water pistol rifle sprayer things out and soak each other

Perhaps we should compile a list/route for hungry cyclists.

Or is that against the spirit...

Spotted bloke in helmet at Polwarth Big lunch. Not one of the usual suspects.

Spytfyre's pizza and bread very nice!
