It is fun. Just got to get yourself a polo beater bike. Edinburgh is hosting the british championships in july. Unfortunately I'll be on holiday...... Loads of info on bike polo in Edinburgh at http://edinburghbikepolo.com/ Folks will lend you a bike if you want to try it out.

@recombodna I'm sure it's great fun if you have the skills. I can imagine a fixed gear bike is near essential for control.
I can also imagine I'd be totally rubbish at it! :)

Na I've got a 3 speed with a coaster brake. No skills. Why not imagine you'd be good at it? The power of positive thinking!!
Anyway I've not played for ages coz boring things like family and stuff got in the way of me playing in the park on my bike at the ripe age of 37...........

Yes I was there and it looked great fun. There is a video on STV Local - you have to get past the short advert. http://local.stv.tv/edinburgh/news/255407-3-2-1-polo-edinburgh-bike-polo-take-to-the-streets I also took some photos but I haven't had the chance to download them yet.
