Police based at Edinburgh Airport have started patrolling on bikes.
Love the dayglo, hi-vis police man in all his protective finery pootling through the airport concourse.
I wonder if it will convince BAA to spend more than the 20 pence it has contributed in wishy-washy, non-committal promises in the airport "masterplan" to cycling facilities at and to the airport. I wonder but I sincerely doubt it. I posted a ranting thread about that a while back when they published the latest masterplan, which basically said "we love the idea of cycling and walking. Just not to the airport. But we are encouraging it. By doing nothing."
