IT’S TRUE!

Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

That's a really good route, over the Rest and be thankful, among the Munros. I'm riding the Selkirk Sportive the following weekend or I might have had a go at it.
I've put in an online application :-) tbh it looks a bit brutal to my eyes but if the weather is at all nice the views will be beautiful to take my mind off it and there is a lot of descending to enjoy... and a ferry trip to finish will be nice.
Hoping some pals from offline will join in with me but time will tell :-)
ah, that looks awesome, but I'm "on tour" then... It is highly likely I'll be in the area though (but lugging a tourer)!
Gosh that looks hard. The climb over to GareLoch has a lot of ups and downs and the climb up the Rest and be Thankfull isnot something I'd like to tackle on my first 200.
I think I need a few 100's under my belt before I think of anything like this.
That's very tempting but the timing is not good for me. Maybe next year. Hope you enjoy it smudge.
