Food Tasting - Deli Polonia
Run by Lucyna and Kelvin Ellis an Edinburgh based Polish delicatessen (235-241 Leith Walk) that introduced the traditional fresh Polish produce to the local Scottish market in 2005 and this year expanded their offer by adding a Cafe and a bakery to their services. In 2006 the delicatessen won the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce Young Business Award. This stand offers the ‘Taste of Poland’ with its freshly baked bread throughout the day and cold meat platter at 2.00pm.
Worth a visit - I do graphic design for them and have watched their business grow with interest (- but not just commercial as it's great to see the amount of work they have put in. Their ovens are from Falcon in Falkirk BTW).Posted 13 years ago #
