    I haven't had a puncture on my commute in several years, but have worn out several tyres in that time and had a puncture from a rosebush on my garden path, though on a day when I wasn't at work and thus wasn't commuting.

    that is not supposed to happen

    I have had one puncture ever on Schwalbe Marathon Plus which was a large hawthorn spike on the canal one new year when I was quite hungover.

    I have several that are coming apart but not down at the wire. I am told I should have kept the tyres inflated to the max to prevent the comingapartness
