I have to admit to being tempted by this, but it's not a Stowaway so alas I don't have the space. Looks like a nice machine though. Moulton F-frame deluxe Mk2.

No, I don't know the seller nor is he paying me commission.

Also, who would have thought it, a quirky wee A-frame folding bike.

I have no connection to this seller either. Just surprised at the interesting stuff turning up in Edinburgh these days!

    Quite right too.

But folder mentioned above isn't the Moulton.

Ch, after being impressed with your AM, I have to admit I'm slightly tempted by that F-frame. Is the seller asking the right sort of money?

"Is the seller asking the right sort of money?"

    That depends...

Not sure if it has alloy rims.

    Do you like the colour?

Would like to do the same/better yourself?

Personally I prefer Series 1s. Yes they can have rear fork cracks - if they have been riden hard/by heavy people and/or made on Friday in Kirkby (allegedly).

No sixties Moulton can ride as well as an AM but for a full supension, fun, bike for less than £100 (tatty) they are quite impressive.

Basic upgrades new tyres - same size as Brompton so much choice and many technological advances. £40ish

Next upgrade rims - well worth it for weight loss (and more import) better braking - £45ish

Powdercoat not cheap - and you'll have to do a complete disassembly - not always easy to remove rear forks.

Wanna borrow one to see if it's the ride4U?

    Powdercoat not cheap

£70 from Hendersons for a blast and coating (paint or powder).
