    Given that forecast is for large amounts in small places, think we have to wait for the Meadowbank Weather Report.

    Does anyone know what level of damp (if any) is allowed for racing at Meadowbank?

    I was just wondering that too. Presumably it would be pretty dangerous to race on a wet track, particularly given the lack of any brakes?

    Don't think it's lack of brakes so much as general adhesion on a sloping surface.

    yes it's a wooden banking, not safe in the wet. Lack of brakes - counter intuitively perhaps - makes it safer
