Ahhhh, that explains it. Didn't get stopped till i hit shandwick place, bloody knackered, i rely on traffic to regulate my speed in the morning....

Strategy meeting on this at Peter's Yard at 10.30!

I had a great run today across to Dalkeith road, but once I got on the second leg of my journey - from Dalkeith road to George square - I met crazy drivers. Oh, and there's glass on the road nr the pedestrian crossing at Buccleugh St, Buccleuch Place heading north

  6. I'm just happy to be back riding. But yes, it's nice and quiet, although I did write a theory once on the perfect level of traffic for cyclists to get courtesy from drivers. Too busy and they are frustrated and jealous of you, too light and you are seen as an impediment to what would otherwise be a free flow. Somewhere in between and you hit a sweet spot.
