"Also, another lady cyclist sat at a PY table outside first thing, I asked if she was part of the citycyclingedinburgh gathering since I knew a few new people were expected, but she wasn't. Strangely seemed very aware of us though"

Funny, the other week (my first coffee morning) I was early, and a lady - must have been the same one - was there, and I had an almost identical chat - she said 'no, I am not part of CCE, but they do meet here from time to time'.

Next time we have to coerce her in to the forum!!!

I know a cycling-woman who eats at PY who exhibits a characteristic combination of those parameters.

    Sorry I missed it :-(
I discovered this morning that some muck has found it's way into the motorbikes fuel system. Unfortunately this revelation was visited on me whilst overtaking a truck on the M9... So this morning I have had a trip in a nice AA truck and made it to work about 1 1/2 hours late without my planned coffee and cinnamon intake :-(
At least it makes for a short day I suppose :-/

"exhibits a characteristic combination of both parameters"

Age/height, bun eating or bicycle using?

Apologies - I have no other excuse than I simply could not get out of bed this morning and muster the inclination to cycle from Drumbrae to Quartermile then back to the Gyle for work. Even the prospect of great coffee was not enough to lure me from under my duvet. I shall try my hardest to make the next one!

Smudgemuck has found it's way into the motorbikes fuel system.

A good excuse but a pretty nasty thing to happen I'd reckon - glad it didn't get worse.

Will be another PY soon no doubt.

"Can you correct then 'oh keeper of the web'?"

Yeah but it's not a 'bad mistake' that needs fixing.

I suspect Smudge will be happy you created the word!

    Dunno, sounds a bit dubious!
Not too nasty I'm pleased to say, just forced me to coast into the hard shoulder and have a tedious wait. Oh and the bill will be higher when I get the bike back :-/
Will look forward to the next PY and try harder next time ;-)
