    Bishopbriggs Cycle to School Success

Was on Radio Scotland and suspect it will be on TV too tonight.

The stats were very high... I caught 7%, 10% and even 20%. Amazing.

No doubt it's been on here before - chdot?

I can't find anything on BBC Scotland site - they said there was a pic of the bike used to record the sound on the move. Sure someone can find it...!

There's a huge amount of grassroots bike stuff which is getting kids into cycling in bishopbriggs.

    Not your cycle-to-school as it's safer/healthier nonsense.

But getting kids to hammer around on bmx's and trials bikes. It appears to work!

'BBC reporter had no h•••• 'shock horror in comments;-).

She was wearing headphones though and going on a bike backwards. Yes... true...

Larry vs Harry bakfiets thing. So totally safe as it's built like a panzer tank.

"Lots of parents on bikes at Bruntsfield this morning!"

    That's REALLY good to hear.

I was partly responsible for the racks there (and the closure of the street at Viewforth) and have been conscious that the racks were not particularly well used.

So presume 'parents on bikes' means kids on bikes too - using the racks.
