Yes I'm signed up to these too. Hope what I'm after, is on sale, though I expect not.

    Bikes sale list (PDF)

Ridgeback Voyage in 54/56/58/60cm is listed at £690, down from £800. Pretty decent bike I think.

there is £200 off the Canondale aluminium Synpase - £499. I don't know if it is any good though. With the EBC sale you are often getting prices available on the net but with the security of the local shop.

    It is on-line now.

Assuming they deliver the new pump I have an old track pump - slightly footery on presta valve [takes either bit of care or two people), will fit in Ortlieb roll top pannier, available if someone wants it.

I also bought a shocking top but what a bargain

I'm seeing things cheaper in other outlets - eg Whyte bikes at £50 cheaper on Winstanleybikes etc. Wiggle also has the Giant range cheaper. Not sure EBC is offering vfm even with the sale. They did a 20% off deal earlier in the year.

Welcome to be corrected on this!

Max I spotted off a bike was £300 but despite it looking very nice £1999 down to £1699 is beyond me by £1600 at the m oment.

It is slower this morning so taking some volume of hits I imagine

There were some apparent bargains to be had last night on accessories (and just there although I did have to order some de-greaser to get the free delivery)

Usually I end up taking most of it back and get a credit note. On-line shopping - the stuff doesn't fit etc but good for bulk orders of bird seed for the winter as long as your neighbour is in when the parcel arrives or it is down to the angry men at The Dell Delivery Centre [mostly made angry by the general public].

I was quite restrained, needed a couple of bottle cages to redress the balance. I now have more cages than bikes so don't need to keep swapping them over.

The voyage is a good bike, even more so at that price. I've been trying to convince my friend to buy one for the last 6 months. Maybe this will help him make his mind up and "do the right thing"

I emailed them to ask if they had mudguards for a kid's Revolution Cairn 20. They must be too busy to reply.

Number two son is using it for school but it rains here. The other two are in the trailer.

  15. It's all getting a bit sparse, especially the clothing section. Got some new brake pads, a micro-pump and a spare tube, but none of them were in the sale. Also got a small saddlebag for the Cotic >X< which was in the sale (down from £20 to £15) which has a wee toolkit in there, and tyre levers (plasticy, but to be honest the tyres are off SO easily on the >X< they'll be fine) and patches and glue.

So that can just stay on that bike and I know that I can just hop on and have everything I need in case of mechanical (if I add a torx key for the brakes, and larger allen key for the saddle and cranks).

Always got pretty much everything I need with the Kaff since it has the Carradice. The mountain bike I tend to have a wee backpack for riding so will tool that up as and when it's necessary (which also means I can take a slightly larger pump and so on).

Feel quite cycle-organised all of a sudden (planning a big ride on the >X< next Monday when I've got a bank holiday off and Mel doesn't).

Yes - the Voyage is a pretty good bike; sale price is last year's new price.

It looked like most of the sale trews had gone on Saturday ...

I went in for a chain (no luck) and came out with some Knog black leather gloves on saturday - some people have commented that they look like the boston stranglers spare pair, but I like them.......

It was online reserve and collect for me. Still waiting to hear if they have everything I ordered ready. Some bargains to be had in accessories...
