Very many thanks to SRD, Roibeard, alanr, partners, children and others for a really fun time - and for keeping an expert eye on junior while trying your various steeds.

The Pino was incredible fun - cycling as a solo pilot initially felt like steering a single-decker bus from the back seat, but quickly feels quite natural. Being stoker is ace - like cycling an armchair.

The Helios feels ridiculously luxurious compared to my road bike - like cycling on marshmallows.

Of course, you are all welcome to experience the bone shaking joys of a carbon forked aluminium road bike at the next meet up.

Definitely great fun was had by all - we did seem to intrigue all that passed by!

My daughter Mhairi did indeed enjoy riding everything and discovering that she could pilot our Pino... The fact that Joel could stoke the Helios was then a bonus - I think he grabbed every passing adult to pilot him!

I could easily convince Ruth that we need a Helios for the kids to ride, if only we had the space for it!

I'd echo the thanks offered to SRD and alanr, the kids thoroughly enjoyed the Sprint and Helios and sharing the ride back home made it go so much more smoothly...

I think I had 4 families try out the Helios - in addition to forumers.

Very good fun. Sorry to hear that the smallest Roibeard got tired-out. He was sooo full of energy and enthusiasm.

We were too busy to take many photos, but here's one of the kids, which gives a good sense of the day:
