Nearly New Sale Polwarth 3 September 11-1

    This Saturday 3 September there will be a Nearly New Sale raising funds for Polwarth and the Sick Kids Hospital.

    Expect lots of kids bikes, bike seats, and sometimes tagalongs and trailers. I may put my 'Weber babyschale' (infant seat for bike trailer) in.

    The sale runs from 11-1; Teas, coffees and home-baking also available.

    (Lothian bus numbers 10 and 27 stop right outside the church, while the 38 stops a block further down, it's also a short walk from the Slateford road buses)

    I've been to this a couple of times - worth going as there are bargains to be had on good quality toys, clothes etc, but get there early as the queue is of epic proportions by opening time.

    Yes, queue by 10 if you have your heart set on anything (a Dutailier chair anyone? or miggymagic's fabulous double buggy?...)

    Or just come along between 12-1 and everything will be quite calm, and the queues will have vanished, but there'll still be quite a lot of good kit.
