Looks like a good haul of updates, but still no ability to swap between quietest/fastest/balanced?

"but still no ability to swap between quietest/fastest/balanced?"
Yes I'm disappointed at that too.
Definitely on their list - must be more difficult than expected.

Dave, have you tried the current Android app?
I find that route calculation doesn't work unless the phone is connected to WiFi. Weird issue and I've not heard of anyone else seeing this problem.

I have it, and mistakenly tried to install the update before rereading the subject line above, as I had missed the iPhone bit. Anyway yes I have used it a few times and it appear to work fine, on both 3G and Wifi. Perhaps if the signal is week then it asks for Wifi?

Re iPhone app:
Switching between route types is something we're very, very keen to add. It's just taking a bit longer than we hope. Currently the code is being reorganised so we can then add this in. It does require quite a few changes to the user interface, hence the delay.

is our bug ticket on this.The Android app already has this functionality - hope you enjoy it!

@cb:
Would you be able to send our developer a feedback on this? That sounds unusual but may be something related to a specific device type or something.
If you can send a message to
http://www.cyclestreets.net/feedback/
giving more details that would be really helpful, so we can look into it.Posted 13 years ago # -
