Hello,
Looking for some opinions on what your favourite/best cycling apps are (iPhone and Android).

IT’S TRUE!

Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

Hi Wendy,
I've been using AllSportGPS on Android by Trimble to record GPS tracks on cycling trips. It works for running and other sports too.
It works as advertised, with live display of speed, distance, location etc which I don't use (no phone mount) and gives a range of statistics (average speed, speed vs distance, distance vs time, elevation vs distance etc at the end of your journey.
Slightly dull appearance but reliable and not too hard on batteries. There is a free evaluation version so you can try before you buy.
RunKeeper for iPhone. They gave out an upgrade to the pro version at some point in the last year to us cheapskates on the freebie. Pretty relaible, good integration with GPS and music player, and will post updates to Facebook etc if you want it to. I know some people who get it to do live updates on the web of their routes, but that sounds like a real battery flattener.
Wendy, I'm assuming (maybe wrongly..) you already know about CycleStreets!
Thanks!
Sportypal for Android or iPhone. A very nice app
