Had a good chat with chap at the NNS on Saturday who is looking for a trailer that could carry his twins. Suggested he check out the forum for useful advice. He's keen on a chariot which is apparently a Canadian make (didn't know that!). I said we'd had good luck with the bike coop trailer, but that it didn't convert to a stroller.

I also mentioned the Helios, which is fine until they are 3-4 ish, I guess.

One benefit to the trailer is obviously being able to move it between bikes.

    Any other ideas?

Bakfiets? Or the Danish Nihola trike?

Both dedicated solutions, without the same flexibility as a trailer, but both place the kids in front of the rider. Bakfiets is an Both are excellent cargo carriers too.

The Pashley/Cresswell U+2 used to be the standard for carrying two children, but I think they've been out of production for some time.

We have a Halfords trailer we may be willing to part with. I'll ask the missus. We have two trailer brackets so we can move between bikes without having to remove wheels.

Dave C - Hopefully he will look at the forum! I told him I got mine second-hand through it too :)

Although, the reason we were talking about them is that someone was selling a brand-new (never out of box) Halfords single trailer, and we were both shocked at how heavy it seemed - much heavier than my double trailer from the coop...

Well he's fine to try it out with his twins in, and perhaps compare to yours.
