Purrty, it's the like the anti-anth with an orange body and black cables.

Better make sure they don't touch, could cause a schism in the fabric of the world, or something.

Cool... it will be good to compare the brakes as I read that yours got a better write up in the press. I'll bring an Allen Key for the seat.

Well after some fettling last night I managed to get on the RSP tri bars & lights on the handlebars. No room for my GPS through... :-(

Great photo Dave. I had fun riding my bike down that slipway to get closer to the Queen Elizabeth liner to take photos. The Brooks is very fetching. I should know, I have the same one :)

Nice bike. I've not seen that bottle holder arrangement before.

  16. According to Cotic it's a cross bike design thang. Basically a bottle cage on the seat tube would get in the way of shouldering the bike. That said, they also say the top tube being oval in shape is for 'comfort' I've shouldered it. Can't say it felt any different to a round tube...

Ooh I never noticed that. I thought in 'cross you just drank a face full of mudddy stream, negating the need for bottles :)

My only cage is on the seat tube and doesn't interfere with shouldering. One of those vintage TdF clips doing the rounds indicated that everyone used to keep their bottle slung under the stem clamp.

That's so new skool. I still have my Specialized Shoulder Holder bag from 1988. Mind you, I haven't used it since about 1993.

Thanks for the comments guys n galls. I've been on a first Aid course this week so no squinternet. I was riding the >X< home this eve (from the train st) and hopped up a kerb and flattened my rear tyre... I did the same thing a couple of weeks ago on my MTB up a kerb.... Mental note to self, don't hop up kerbs above 10mph...
