What time? As I am usually awake from 5/6am onwards anyway I could sneak away for a cup of the black stuff, and also back in my old building I am not doing too much of a detour.

Is this going to be a regular event?

'Regular' implies a constant interval between them. They happen more frequently than sporadically or intermittently but not that often.

As usual, might try to make it but probably won't.

    'and according to innacuweather?'

Quite - I only mention that site as it is shown on my phone, but dont vouch for its accuracy.

They quoted it as currently sunny yesterday, when I distinctly felt rain on way home, so go figure !

I've negotiated my way out of school drop-off on principle that I need to return Kaputnik's light, so will be along as well.

I wore a jacket to cycle to work today for the first time since the last time - which may have been March or April...

Tried out the winter kit today, was bloody roasting.

  26. Yep, saw the rain this morning, put on the waterproof jacket, it stopped when I left, I boiled.

I seem to remember writing - only yesterday - about stopping to take off layers....

    Posted 13 years ago #
  28. Yep, but boiled going up the Royal Mile, then considered ditching the waterproof, before figuring the windproofing would be useful come the windy descent down Johnstone Terrace.

"before figuring the windproofing would be useful come the windy descent down Johnstone Terrace"

But you could have stopped at the International Newsagent, bought a paper from a country that likes cycling and put that up you shirt for when you became a descendeur.

I would like to pre-emptively apologise to anyone to whom I cause inadvertent offence by accidentally emitting an involuntary incredulous expression upon hearing words like "coat" or "cold" or "layers" if I make it to PY tomorrow.
