Great shots Anth! I don't recognise any of them. Just a thought. It would be great to see a similar shot of as many of the members/contributors to the forum on a permanent link?

Evening News: "Photographer arrested on MMW for looking dodgy"

  6. Er. Exactly what is a photographer on MMW going to be arrested for?

And so if I position something else of interest in the photo it's fine???

MMW8 had the knowledge (or an inkling) of being photographed. Must have been anth's dayglo orange bowling shirt that gave him away.

Anth, you have uncovered a significant difference in behaviour between car drivers and cyclists (Maybe it's not the only one...)

I tried to take a few photos of cars moving for a research project. No-one passed without starng at me. Most slowed down, some suddenly, and one even reversed back up the street to complain (although I did use a flash for that one, pavlov's dog lives I suppose).

Compared to that experience, your nonchalant cyclists are a breath of fresh air.

  11. Interesting. In all the time shooting cyclists I've been seen by at least 90% of them. Roughly 5-10% will look at me (including one person who beamed and stuck his tongue out at me); and two have turned round and asked me for the photo (in a good way - one is now a friend, the other French couple were more than happy to have been snapped).

Anth, "In all the time shooting cyclists I've been seen by 90% of them". Doesn't look too good that when you isolate that sentence. You can still shoot me in MMW when I am wizzing through.

I wonder how many also appear on Edinburgh Cycle Chic a lot their photos are from MMW.

Loads of glass on Middle Meadow Walk today, on the southern half. Forgot to pack my brush.

    (also, best necro-bump ever!)

That's impressive. Although I hadn't realised fashions had changed so much since 2012.

Didn’t see any glass at the junction but plenty cyclists.

In Edinburgh Cycling Chic list of snaps only Illustrious Leader do I recognise. Described as Old Skool.

I'm pretty sure someone video'd me a few weeks ago while cycling in a dress on my white folding e-bike, and it was distinctly uncomfortable.
It's possible that there may have been a very interesting seagull above my head, but I doubt it.

Having said that, I enjoyed scrolling through those snaps.
