Airdrie to Glasgow was fine. Windier than normal but nothing outrageous.

One large old tree down at west end of the Meadows, by the croquet club.

Main danger from suicidal drivers at Haymarket wholesale jumping the red lights (again) at bottom of Dalry Road and driving straight into stream of oncoming buses, cars and cyclists. Scary stuff.

Oh they do that whatever the conditions. I witnessed exactly the same at Waterloo Place. One driver creeps past a red light, another is determined not to let the first get away with it, so does the same. Before you know it, they're all at it! Lemmings!

Hi 'chdot'! Its the girl doing LEJOG. Thought you might like to know I finished yesterday. It's been an amazing trip. It was really nice to meet you, I hope you dried out after that horrendous rain! Jenny

    Welcome Jenispen!

I wasn't that wet - just a bit disappointed that my 'proper cycling' waterproof was a bit wet inside the arms!

WAS glad to be away from the wind though!!

I didn't realise from our conversation that you were (partly) camping too - impressive!

I'm sure some people on here would be interested in what you were riding and general kit.

Perhaps you'll be adding to the thread on your club's forum.
