From the Sciennes Primary School newsletter this week.

"CYCLE THEFT Last week we were shocked to discover our school bikes had been stolen from the bike shed at the back of the school. The police were called but we do not expect them to be recovered. Sciennes is one of the few schools in the city to offer cycle training as part of the curriculum and we would like to be able to continue this. We are looking for donations of 24'' and 26'' wheeled bikes which are in good conditions or a monetary donation to add to our Bike Fund."

These were bikes used for the P6 cycle training.

That's a low blow!! Stealing kids bikes from a primary school.

Some are in this picture. Usually about 10% of children at Sciennes don't have own/suitable bike.

While its a blow, I am sure that most kids will have access to their own bike. Meanwhile, parent council etc will get replacements over the next term.

    Recombo - yep, low.
