Event was this weekend... hopefully Min did well. She's been quiet though....
Anyone else know of anyone who did this 100 mile bike, run and kayak ordeal event?
Scotland Coast to Coast Rat Race
CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 15years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

Tired and no idea how I did yet. Will find out when I get home later, thansk!
Hey, you finished! So congratulations are in order, and I hope it was fun, if these things ever can be?!? :-)
Met a guy on the train on Friday taking his cross bike to Nairn for the start. Had come from London, said he'd been training for 6 months!
Well done Min. You did it and that's what is important!
Thanks guys!
Back home now, tired but happy. It was hard but I finished in the top 200 which is what I wanted so I am very pleased with that. :-) I am not fast but I reckon if I can cover the distance faster than most people then that is pretty good.
Congratulations Min!
Congratulations Min!
Oops double post. But worth saying twice
Hehe, thank you!

Well done Min.
Thank you again!
Saturday can be summed up thusly:-
Rain pain pain pain pain pain rain.
I was carrying too much kit which didn't help.
Sunday was more like pain rain pain rain pain pain pain. The supposed 14 mile run at the end was not really a run at all and took me far longer than anticipated, just because the terrain was so tough. Took me about 13 hours to do the whole lot.
I took the bus to work this morning..
..I have a horrible feeling I am about to enter a 69 mile ultramarathon. :-(
Writing it down in words might help me come to my senses.
And quite right too!
Edit: about the bus, not the ultra-marathon! - crossover in posting...
(Belated) Congratulations! What an achievement to be proud of.

Hehe, yeah you're meant to talk me out of that. ;-)

Dave said same thing about his recent event....
Sunday was more like pain rain pain rain pain pain pain.
Like it - telling it as it is! That's the kind of summary that should help get more entrants next year... ;-)
