Its a nice idea.
Thought their definition of a 'cycle friendly employer' was a bit stretching though - my employer would only score 6 out of 11, but are (IMO) very cycle friendly with great facilities.

I think schools get 2/11. The cycle parking is really for kids so I don't use it (and neither do kids). The changing facilities are in the PE dept so not specifically for cyclists and I don't use them.
The council had a brief cycle to work scheme in June/July. It ran for a couple of weeks and coincided with the start of the school holidays. I suspect this will allow them to claim there was no interest.
I could fill in the survey today, it will be 1 out of more than 100 staff or 1500 if you include the pupils. I've been working on converting the new S1 pupils. We did some lung measurements this week. The 45 yr old guy really shouldn't have been able to beat them so conclusively... like he did with the S3 last week.

A little odd that they ask for the number of bikes in racks as a count of cycling to work. We don't have any racks. My bike is warming by the photocopier but I counted it anyway.

I hope someone else is doing my employer's other buildings, particularly the one with twice as many bikes for a third as many people as this one. I'll wander through the car park and count at lunchtime.

I've done it for my building.

I've done it for the Lloyds Banking Group building out at the Gyle. Disappointingly, when I arrived at work this morning there were only three bikes in the rack (of which, mine was one).
The wind was howling though.
