    I saw this on the TV this morning. £1500 for a penny farthing doesn't sound too bad to me! Don't think I'll be adding one to my shed but they are cool.

    Wow imagine how long it would take to find the punture in that inner tube... Do Schwabe do a Marathon Plus in that size?

    Is the Riverside Museum museum open now? I'd like to visit but don't wnat to if is only half done. We could also go to the science museum at the same time. Are they within walking distance? oh and Evans... at the same time also... [shopping]

    Joff Summerfield builds (or at least, was building) his Mk5 Penny Farthings in London, also for about £1500. He's the guy who cycled around the world on one.

    A Penny fitted with Ortleib panniers is a remarkably odd beast, it has to be said.
